INDEPENDENCEAVENUE (5) is back from a break of three months. Raced below par at her only appearance last prep when seventh over 1106m at Laurel Turf (Turf). Comes here with definite claims. MOONLIGHT PROMISES (8) last appeared when she finished sixth over 1106m at Woodbine All Weather on November 22. Yet to win first up but generally runs well with two minor placings from three tries. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. CAPTURING (11) went forward and gave a great sight when third over 1710m at this track (Turf) last time out. Will be handy despite the tricky draw. One of the main contenders. THANKFULLY (1) pushed forward and was a determined winner by 3 lengths over 1006m at GULFSTREAM PARK All Weather (Synthetic) last time out. Is a winner at this circuit. Cannot be underestimated.
