RUINS OF ROME was never likely on heavy going fresh before prevailing narrowly on soft second up. He'll be further improved and it will be a good lead if he's lining up here instead of at Eagle Farm. CARPACCIO finished off strongly to score when resuming and is yet to miss a place when second up. LONE ARTIST has been game in the placings at both runs back from a break and should get all the favours from the kind draw. COLLEANO dug deep to lead throughout fresh and should be in this for a long way as well.
