NOTHIN' WONG HERE looks well suited by the Egan riding engagement and the compression hood with ear muffs that technically will help the gelding relax. Chased a brutal tempo last start and leader stopped and got beaten 34 lengths so was a sitting duck. Raw and green and only grabbed late. CRISTARIA has run well in two recent starts over 1600m on rain affected going and now looks ready to be tried over the staying trip. PATH TO VICTORY was one paced at second run at 1600m. Immediately stepped up in trip and blinkers go on for the first time. Not seen rain affected ground but sire's runners seem ok on it. SPICY APPLE stuck on well in staying debut at 1894m and the winner was well supported. Likely to improve again with the run in distance range. Similary story with CRUSH PUPPY who ikely to be improved with the 2020m run at Mornington at first go up in trip. CHOUXDINO was up on a decent gallop last start. Placed twice in five goes on soft.
