On pace runners, 2, 3, 5, 7, 9. JOIKA must be forgiven for an unplaced latest effort at Newcastle when there were excuses on the day. THE CRISTAL has continued to maintain consistency as her five start current preparation has progressed and she can be expected to maintain that consistency when she attempts a significant distance rise today. ROYAL PRINCESS handed in a most acceptable front-running effort at Newcastle last start with Izzy Neale aboard. She has now been produced twice in blinkers and she has done enough on both occasions to be greatly respected here. TSAREVICH wasn't disgraced after gear changes were made when she was making her Scone debut last start. She will now have scope to improve when she presents third up.
