On pace runners 1,5,9 and 14. ASSOCIATE was most impressive winning 2 straight over the 1600 metres before finishing close up at Randwick over 1800 metres last start. Back to this grade and distance he just needs a bit of luck from the bad barrier to be hard to beat. TARTANA good both runs this time in will appreciate getting to the 1600 metres. ZOUATICA had a wide trip and wasn't beaten far when resuming. He has a very good 2nd up record and from barrier 1 will get his chance. DIRECT FIRE and DUMEBI also look good hopes in a tough race.
