Other rules:Only final field runners subject to deductions
Selections: 8-7-5-12
On pace runners, 1, 3, 5, 6, 11. AFFARI was a dual acceptor for this meeting with this race quickly chosen as her best target. Blinkers and a tongue tie have been added to her gear since her gallant effort here over this distance two weeks ago. She can at least be expected to maintain her consistency this afternoon. YOTEI was much too good for all except the winner at Lismore last start. Blinkers have now been added to his gear and he has scope to improve within the same distance range today. RAIN DELAY presents on debut. He has trialed twice since a spell at home (Randwick) and this journey suits at his first start. PEARL OF DUBAI is resuming after trialing on three occasions. She will have no issues over this journey when gear changes made at listed level two starts ago at Eagle Farm, are reversed for today.
