TORPEDOES had a tough run at Murray Bridge last start and did well to stick on and finish second to Dirty Old Town. That was his first try over this trip, so he'll be better for it. PRETTY PERKY was placed behind Regal Ripper two starts ago, then didn't have much go her way at Strathalbyn last time. KAPPA CRUCIS hasn't had the best of luck in two of three runs to date. He was scratched from a race at Gawler on Wednesday to be saved for this, as was MIKKI TANGO. Other chances are ROOMERHASIT (looks ready to tackle 1400m), CATHAY EXPRESS and BELONGTOJILL (fitter for two runs back from a break).

Morphettville Racecourse is South Australia’s premier racing venue. It held its first race meeting in 1875. There are two tracks, Morphettville Racecourse and Morphettville Parks. Morphettville Racecourse has a circumference of 2307 metres and a 340-metre-long straight. It hosts the Adelaide Cup, Australasian Oaks, Robert Sangster Stakes, Goodwood Handicap and the South Australian Derby each year.
