State-based Tote pools across Australia have been combined into a single national Tote ('One Pool'), meaning there is now only one set of Tote dividends nationwide.
This industry-wide change may affect the prices available and how some Tote bets are settled. Tote (TO) now represents the combined national Tote ('One Pool'), while Tote+ (TO+) returns the better of the Tote dividend and Starting Price (SP).
Other rules:Only final field runners subject to deductions
Selections: 1-3-5-11
Heath trial winner HANK HONK was favourite at debut and didn't have much luck. JAPANESE MOKA was also well fancied at his first start, running well - tricky gate here the concern. PRESTIGE HELLEBNT struck trouble at debut and was nabbed only late at second go. Plenty of interest amongst the debutants. Particularly like the jump-out efforts of HOLD SWAY, LADY BLANC and NICENTO.
