About Great-western Racecourse

Great Western Racecourse is part of a 70-hectare recreation reserve in the town of Great Western in the Victorian Grampians region. It is run by the Great Western Racing Club, which holds its marquee event, the Great Western Cup in January each year. Run over 1950 metres, the race has a $45,000 prize purse.
