VINEUX looks the one to beat in an average distance maiden. She has been placed in last couple and her placing at Geelong last start suggests she should get away with this. HIGH HEELED is the danger. Placed at Geelong two starts back then was not disgraced last start. Cannot leave her out. CHARLIE MESSY HAIR was bit one paced at Mornington last start when just out of placings. This not difficult and he can sneak a placing while FRENCH CROSSING has been well beaten in recent starts and hard to see her winning but she has first four claims.
