He has trialed twice recently and this journey will pose no problems for him first up. BETTER BY FAR trialed twice in August at her Randwick home base with Tim Clark aboard on both occasions. She has the pace to make her own luck today and she's more than ready to make a Canterbury debut. VATICAN was spelled after there were excuses for an unplaced Randwick effort on debut in a race that's produced strong form. He's trialed twice recently and this race is within his reach first up.

About Canterbury Racecourse
Canterbury Park Racecourse is located in Sydney’s inner west, about a 15-minute drive from the city centre. It is operated by the Australian Turf Club. The track is used mainly on a midweek basis for night racing, although it sometimes hosts a Saturday meet if Rosehill or Randwick are unavailable.
