WAT EVER YOU NEED (4) made a nice return at her latest appearance six days ago, finishing less than 7 metres away in third at Menangle. That continued the good form from last preparation. Fitter so can progress off her bright start to the campaign. JOANS RISING STAR (5) was checked and broke last start and then worked so was very brave in finishing runner-up last start, beaten a head at Newcastle. Draws wider but with better luck she is a big chance. SHAZADELE (10) draws on the back row but has to come into calculations on the back of some strong recent form. LUCKY PUNT (6) returns to the front row and was fourth from this barrier two back.

Bathurst Racecourse is otherwise known as Tyers Park and is the main course of the Bathurst region. It holds around 12 meetings per year, including its feature race the Bathurst Cup which is run in February. The track has a circumference of 1600 metres and a home straight of 300 metres.
