Six nations have attended every Commonwealth Games: Australia, Canada, England, New Zealand, Scotland and Wales.
Australia has hosted the Games five times (more than any other nation): 1938 (Sydney), 1962 (Perth), 1982 (Brisbane), Melbourne (2006) and Gold Coast (2018).
The medals at the 2018 Commonwealth Games were shared between 43 countries, beating the previous record of 39 (2002 and 2006).
