In 2015, American Pharoah became the first horse in 30 years to win the American racing Triple Crown, and the 12th overall. Three years later, the unbeaten Justify did it again.
Thirty-two horses have won the Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes double, with the most recent being Justify in 2018.
