A total of 16 players have been nominated for the Rising Star award twice.

Four players have polled the maximum votes from the Rising Star’s panel of experts at the end of the season: Melbourne’s Jared Rivers (2004), Brisbane’s Daniel Rich (2009), Sydney’s Dan Hannebery (2010) and Collingwood’s Nick Daicos (2022).
