The time has come! After weeks of deliberating, negotiating and, yes waiting…the English Premier League is back.
There are two matches to be played from Week 28 – Aston Villa v Sheffield United and Manchester City v Arsenal – and once they’re out of the way, it’s on to Week 30 and a sprint to the finish in late July.
It’s difficult to consider form when teams have had such a long layoff, so it might be smart to ease your way back into the betting. On the other hand, it will be a relief to start talking about Aguero, Salah and Rashford again, as opposed to obscure Belarusian strikers.
Aston Villa v Sheffield United
Thursday, 3am AEDT
*Villa have earned 17 of their 25 points at home…BUT…Sheffield United have only lost two of their 13 away games (and those were to Man City and Liverpool).
*Villa are unbeaten in 9 of their last 10 home matches against Sheffield United.
*Villa have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last 13 games.
*The draw ($3.20) looks like a decent way to re-start the season.
