The countdown to the Melbourne Cup continues and it’s Magic Circle who has captured punter interest the most since the barrier draw.

Magic Circle holds over 15% of wagers but is on the second line of betting alongside Cross Counter (both $9.00).

Yucatan remains the favourite on $5.50 but is drifting in the betting and also with punter support, now standing at just over 11%.

  • Vengeur Masque is at $67 and is also relatively unloved
  • Ventura Storm is on $26
  • A Prince of Arran is at $17 and has been as long as $251
  • Nakeeta is at $81 which is it’s largest odds so far
  • Sir Charles Road is at $91
  • Zacada is an outsider on $151
  • Runaway is on $35
  • Youngstar is a $17 shot and has attracted close to 10% of bets
