The Wolf’s best bet is promising staying type at Kembla. Here are Tuesday’s racing tips.
Socrates produced a terrific run first up and he should be very hard to beat out in trip with the blinkers going on here. Trainer John O’Shea thought enough of the Tavistock colt to run in the Group 1 Spring Champion last spring and while he disappointed there, he remains a highly promising staying talent. Getting back to the track where he broke his maiden and with the blinkers back on, he should be awfully hard to beat.

Frostin’ had the misfortune of running into Tycoon Humma first up at this track and that filly confirmed the strength of the form with a brilliant win at Flemington on Saturday. Meanwhile, Frostin’ strikes a very suitable race here with blinkers on for the first time and getting the services of John Allen from barrier one.
Recommended Price: $2.25
Confidence Level: 4/5
Belieber had a throw at the stumps in the Group 3 Eskimo Prince Stakes last start and while he did finish last, he was only beaten five lengths. His prior form around the provincials was solid and back on his home track he should be very competitive.
Recommended Price: $5.50
Confidence Level: 3/5
Flash Point produced a much improved run at Newcastle last start and looks primed to break through with blinkers going on for the first time here. Jason Collett will just need some luck from the wide draw but if he gets it she has long been a mare who looked like she would benefit from the addition of blinkers.
Recommended Price: $4.60

Bendigo 1/3 Frostin’ & Kembla 7/5 Socrates
