Here’s a look at Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane Quaddies for Saturday! Good luck!

Flemington

6-Blamey Stakes (Group 2, 1600m)

Best: Buffalo River – raced handy when first-up second this track and hit the front too early, yet still fought on. Likely to lead this time and should get it pretty soft and even fitter now.

Fifty Stars – distance too short and opposition too slick in Sydney when resumed. Slightly longer trip, fitter and back to the scene of his G1 Australian Cup win.

Best Of Days – strong all the way win at Caulfield. Ollie pulled their pants down with some cheap sectionals and expect he will take a sit this time and be in the mix again.

Numbers: 11, 1, 5.

7-Australian Guineas (Group 1, 1600m)

Best: Dom To Shoot – 3.5lens behind Tagaloa last start after being a mile back on the home turn. Third against older horses in G1 Kingston Town (1800m) in Perth so will run the mile right out.

Cherry Tortoni – did best work late for fourth toTagaloa latest. Likely to go back from the wide gate, fitter and second-up record is solid.

Tagaloa – raced handy and scored game win in the C.S. Hayes and on-speed can be favourable over 1400m at Flemington. No knock, but tricky gate and failed only go at the mile.

Ole Kirk – on a seven-day back-up after disappointing in the Futurity. He was in the worst part of the track and is back against own age here.

Numbers: 5, 4, 2, 1.

8-Inglis Dash (1100m)

Best: Rocketing By – we won’t know until race day whether one alley is a plus or minus. First go up the straight for this colt and he is flying with wins at his last three starts.

Celestine – is very honest and has won this track. Her third here, before an ease-up, was a huge run behind Written Beauty, when she got too far back.

Bella Nipotina –  turned in an even effort behind Rocketing By at Randwick. She meets that horse 1.5kgs worse, strips fitter and wide draw could be a big plus.

Japery – was on a quick back-up from Melbourne to Sydney in seven days and not disgraced behind Rocketing By. Back to a track and distance he has won at and nice gap between runs.

Numbers: 3, 13, 6, 5.

9-Tressady Stakes (Group 3, 1400m)

Best:  Chaillot – quality mare that performed well during the spring and resuming. She trialled okay at Geelong and is a two-time winner this track and distance and two from two when first-up.

Shout The Bar – won the G1 Empire Rose here before a spell. Two soft Randwick trials to prepare and will run this out stronger than most.

Greysful Glamour – Group 2 winner before a spell and was strong in two Randwick trials. Great draw and likely to lead or sit right on speed, which is an asset here.

Paul’s Regret – slightly held-up when second behind Probabeel in Caulfield G3. Finished hard and can get the gun run in this.

Numbers: 11, 1, 2, 10.

Randwick

6-Chipping Norton Stakes (Group 1, 1600m)

Best: Kolding – two good runs from a spell and loves the mile here. Sat on the leader’s haunches latest, reckon Bowman might look for cover this time.

Verry Elleegant – outstanding and couldn’t stay in touch early when third to Collette. Extra 200m in her favour and second-up record is good.

Collette – box-seated and strong first-up winner and loves the cut out of the track.

Numbers: 1, 6, 7.

7-Surround Stakes (Group 1, 1400m)

Best: Dame Giselle – closed well when resumed at Randwick. That was first run since October, fitter and unbeaten in three second-up runs.

Never Talk – made up a stack of ground and almost nabbed Every Rose in the Lightfingers. Extra distance a plus and the wetter the better.

Hungry Heart – will be better for her first-up run in the soft, when 2lens adrift of Every Rose. Wide gate so needs a gem from J-Mac.

Away Game – held her ground in the worst part of the track when third to Every Rose, rock hard fit.

Numbers: 3, 7, 5, 2.

8-Benchmark 88 (2000m)

Best: Great House – short enough in the market, but was a dominant winner at his second Australian start, beating Harpo Marx. Should be improved from that and kept ticking over with an easy trial.

Kaapfever – was equally dominant winner last start, also beating Harpo Marx. Loves the soft and any track downgrade adds to the appeal.

Yonkers – total forget run last start when three wide facing the breeze. Bowman was soft on him, sticks for this and fitter for three runs.

Numbers: 10, 7, 2.

 9-Benchmark 88 (1200m)

Best: Zakat – super first-up run at Flemington when a close second to I’m Telling Ya. Second-up record strong, good alley and winner this track and distance.

He’s A Hotshot – worked hard to lead and showed plenty of fight at Canterbury after being galloped on in the run. Up in grade, but drops 5.5kgs.

Poetic Charmer – had all the favours and dug deep to score a last stride win here, this grade. Will carry the same weight after the claim and drawn to get a nice run again.

Numbers: 5, 7, 1.

Sunshine Coast

6-Benchmark 80 (1000m)

Best:  Howwonderfullifeis – speedy filly scored a strong second-up win at Doomben, with same weight and from barrier two she can get it easy early and heavy track no problem.

Katy’s Daughter – runs are well spaced and she just kept finding when close-up behind Animate in MM Country Cup. Very honest, two-time winner here, heavy track query.

Kalik – back to home track after even fourth in tougher company. Drops from 1200m, which could be a positive.

Chivargo – former Victorian won four of five since joining Hansen yard, including three here on home track. Toughest test to date, light weight and handles the wet.

Numbers: 2, 5, 6, 13.

 7-Open Handicap (1200m)

Best: Epic Girl – doesn’t win out of turn. Given a freshen up and a lot to like about her 1000m trial win at Doomben

Run For Glory – closed strongly in Epic Girl’s trial win. Won five in a row before a spell, first-up winner and unbeaten in two first-up runs.

Doctor Zous – used some gas early and sat off the leader at Eagle Farm and fought hard for third. Rodd sticks  and can get cover this time from his good alley.

Gem Of Scotland – off the scene since March with a hip injury. She was a quality filly, huge ask and did go okay in a Toowoomba 650m trial.

Numbers: 6, 4, 5, 7.

8-Tattersall’s Cup (Listed, 1600m)

Best: Sophie’s Gold Class – game effort for third here last start off a wide run. Should be peaking for this and heavy track winner as well as three wins this track.

Matowi – raced handy and well beaten by Ligulate over 1800m at Eagle Farm. Drop back to 1600m is a plus, has heavy form and meets Ligulate 2kgs better.

Ligulate – won last two starts and was dominant ahead of Matowi at Eagle Farm latest. Can’t knock winning form.

Wapiti – fighting third to Paradee at the Gold Coast after being the widest runner on the home turn. Trained here and two from two in the heavy.

Numbers: 5, 3, 2, 13.

 9-Benchmark 75 (1400m)

Best: Lunar Light – given an ease-up after nice win this track. Trialled since and track could be a mess by this race and she does handle the heavy.

Scottish Mist – form solid all three runs this prep and rewarded with a win last start. Untried in heavy, but winner in soft going and she’s an honest mare.

Top Me Up Again – nice horse and first-up since October. Not knocked about in trial here and gets in well with the 3kg claim.

Dio D’oro – fitter for two runs from a break and solid win in easier grade last start and is a swimmer.

Numbers: 14, 16,4, 2.
