The Wolf’s best bet will take plenty of catching at Wangaratta. Here are Tuesday’s racing tips.

Coolshot should relish the drop back to 1000m and prove too speedy in the seventh at Wangaratta. The John McArdle trained three year old was a dominant winner on debut at this trip before stretching out to 1200m at Geelong and being found wanting a little late. Jamie Mott should go straight to the front here and show a clean pair of heels throughout.
Recommended Price: $2.35
Confidence Level: 4.5/5

Tiz Magic comes to Wangaratta on debut and has been the subject of good backing already – no surprise off the back of his terrific trial behind the very talented Cambourne. He wears blinkers on debut and looks ready to produce.
Recommended Price: $4.00
Confidence Level: 4/5

Reddy was unfancied on debut but hit the line really well over 1400m. The Patrick Payne trained gelding should be even better suited to a mile and should be able to sit a little closer in the run here from a favourable draw.
Recommended Price: $4.60
Confidence Level: 3.5/5

Rushford has always had talent and his first start for new trainer Bryan Maher suggests he should be capable of winning races for the new yard. Getting well back over 1200m, he worked to the line strongly to finish second last start. The slightly longer trip today is in his favour.
Recommended Price: $9.00/3.00
Confidence Level: 4/5
