The Wolf’s Best Bet was a commanding winner on debut and looks set to repeat the dose. Here are Tuesday’s racing tips.

Yarra Boy was the subject of good betting support on his debut on March 21, backed into favouritism and never looked like letting the punters down, cruising past his rivals in the straight to record a comfortable win by a length. He makes the inevitable step up to Class 1 today but this looks extremely winnable and under the guidance of Ollie, he clearly rates on top for The Wolf.

This lightly raced seven-year-old mare has resumed from a four year spell impressively, with a 3rd and two wins from four attempts this prep. She has won her last two on the bounce, breaking her maiden in style at Werribee for 3.25L and following that up with an all the way victory at Albury on March 19. She steps up to BM64 here but should be put in the right position with Damian Lane onboard and at double-figure odds, The Wolf is saying it’s well worth finding out if she can bring up a hat-trick here.

Dimaggio resumes today from a five month spell, last seen at Morphettville in a BM76 when making up good ground late to finish 6th beaten 1.7. He should settle a lot closer today from the soft draw and with the 2kg claim from Logan McNeil, looks well in this.
Recommended Price: $6.50
Confidence Level: 3.5/5

The penny quickly dropped for Marketing at his fourth start, bringing up his maiden win by 3.25L and then following that up with a 4.25L win at Geelong only a few weeks later in BM64 company. He is first-up today but remains in an identical class, only rising 2kg in the weights. He maps very well today and looks a strong hope of picking up here we left off last prep.
