The Wolf’s best bet is looking for back to back wins at Ascot. Here are Friday’s racing tips.

Dig Deep has been in superb form of late and can make it back to back black type wins here in the Old Comrade Stakes. Clint Johnston-Porter retains the ride and he should give him every possible chance from inside draw.
Recommended Price: $2.80
Confidence Level: 4.5/5

Skilendra has finally drawn a barrier and should be too good here at Launceston. The Ian Hay trained mare has been sound in two runs back from a spell, hitting the line particularly well last time out. From barrier four with top local rider David Pires up, she should be too strong.
Recommended Price: $2.75
Confidence Level: 4.5/5

Jophiel has has 28 starts for zero wins but this is her first run in Tasmania for new trainer Sigrid Carr, who also rides the gelding. He has been placed on eleven occasions so he is not without ability. The Wolf is banking on the change of location to help him discover that winning feeling.
Recommended Price: $6.00
Confidence Level: 3/5

Queen Takes King is showing great ability as a stayer and can make it back to back wins here. The Lindsey Smith trained mare was too good last time over a mile and a half, and while she does drop back in trip the tempo looks genuine and she can fly over them late.
Recommended Price: $3.40
Confidence Level: 4/5
