Here’s a look at the Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane quaddies for Saturday! Good luck!

Flemington

6-Let’s Elope Stakes (Group 2, 1400m)

Best: Instant Celebrity – found them a bit nippy in 1200m Cockram when resumed, but hit the line strongly. Two from two when second-up and extra distance suits.

Turaath – led at Caulfield not a lot of peace and ran decent sectionals. Gave a good kick in the run home and held off Annavisto. Won her previous start, mare in great form.

Zou Dancer – won the G3 vanity this track and distance before a spell. Not far away two runs this prep and should be peaking for this.

Impecunious – G1 placed in the Vinery before a spell. Even effort in easier class when resumed and will be better for the run.

Numbers: 1, 14, 8, 15.

7-Bobbie Lewis Quality (Group 2, 1200m)

Best: Away Game – she was seven weeks between runs when finished hard for second in the Regal Roller. Nice and fresh for this and should be suited by the big track.

The Astrologist – honest as they come and track specialist won three of last four including G3 win here last start.

Zoutori – won the G1 Newmarket this track and distance before a failed, two-run, Sydney campaign. First-up record is solid, but two Flemington jump-outs were okay.

Sirius Suspect – not noted first-up, but held ground behind the Astrologist. In the money five of six second-up, down in the weights and races well up the straight.

Numbers: 9, 5, 1, 12.

8-Makybe Diva Stakes (Group 1, 1600m)

Best: Mo’Unga – scored a super win in the G1 Winx Stakes when resumed at Randwick. Extra 200m looks perfect and is a second-up winner.

Aegon – didn’t look comfortable getting around Caulfield in the Memsie. Did best work late when 6th to Behemoth. Fitter for the run and should be better suited on the bigger track.

Colette – slow away in the Memsie out the back. Brought wide for the run home and closed strongly without being punished and Ollie sticks.

Incentivise – made a meteoric rise winning the last six in Brisbane. Last three by a combined margin of 30 lengths, but beat nothing. Obviously has a stack of ability, this should give a guide to how much.

Numbers: 10, 9, 11, 6.

9-Open Handicap (1700m)

Best: Young Werther – spelled after ATC Derby second. Jumped-out strongly to win 1000m heat at Geelong. Likely to get back in the run, but expect he will be powering home.

Skyman – didn’t go around another runner and had his chance, but just failed to run down Viral at the Valley. He will be fitter for that first-up run and is drawn to get the favours.

Ziegfeld – will need a ride from Ollie from the wide alley, but last run was close second to No Effort at Caulfield. Took time to wind-up, but fought hard, winkers go on and super fit.

Furrion – eight weeks since won here last start over 2000m. Prior to that he was second at Listed level. Capable fresh and has won this track and distance.

Numbers: 6, 14, 8, 9.

Kembla Grange

7-Theo Marks Stakes (Group 2, 1300m)

Best: Icebath – resumed and last run before a spell was second in G1 Doncaster. No luck when third to Private Eye, wide throughout and still fought hard, game effort and meets him 2.5kgs better.

Private Eye – returned from a break with a fast finishing win in G3 Show County at Randwick last start. Can only be fitter, has won this track and step-up from 1200m is a plus.

Big Parade – was dominant winner here, in BM88, when first-up since January. A month between runs now, but kept ticking over with a trial and lightly weighted for the class rise.

Madam Rouge – up to these at her best and resumes after a Brisbane campaign, which is always a plus. She’s had a soft trial, J-Mac/Waller combine and rails draw.

Numbers: 2, 6, 10, 4.

8-Run To The Rose (Group 2, 1200m)

Best: Remarque – spelled after light two-year-old prep. Returned with a luckless third to Paulele in the Rosebud. Had no luck getting a run and once clear motored home. Nice colt, plenty of upside.

Anamoe – resumes and won the G1 Sires before a spell. Not let out of second gear in Rosehill trial last week and looks to have come back strong.

Converge – just kept improving last prep and won the G1 J.J. Atkins at Eagle Farm before a spell. Has trialled twice and most recently scored a strong win in his Randwick 1000m heat.

Numbers: 8, 2, 4.

9-Benchmark 88 (1200m)

Best: Emanate – copped a bump late and not far away when sixth in the G3 Toy Show. She’s not noted first-up, but is two from three when second-up and this is a big drop in grade.

Never Talk – very soft first-up run when 15th of 16, but closed okay under minimal riding. Down from G3 and she’s been close up in G1, so expect improvement from rails draw.

Zakat – placed two runs this prep, this track and distance. Latest finished hard for third to Madam Legend this grade and should be peaking for this.

Ventura Ocean – had a good prep in Brisbane and returned with a fourth, to Frosty Rocks, this grade at Rosehill. Six weeks between runs, but goes well fresh.

Numbers: 4, 5, 7, 6.

10-Benchmark 78 (1500m)

Best: Brookspire – bolted in a BM 72 at Randwick midweek last start. She was beaten 2lens in the G1 Oaks before a spell and just need luck or a gem from Bowman from the wide barrier.

Love Tap – wide throughout and never in the hunt. Better than that and down in grade for this and second-up record is better.

Kingsheir – third to Kordia here in a blanket finish, this track and distance last start. Lost his spot mid-race and got going late. Jockey upgrade, third-up and very honest.

Loveplanet – looked the winner, but nabbed late by Always Sure, this grade, last start. Third-up now and drawn to box-seat. In the money

Numbers: 9, 4, 6, 7.

Doomben

6-Doomben Mile (1600m)

Best: Ballistic Boy – class runner resumed with a fast finishing win here last start. Steps-up from 1350m, which is ideal and drawn to box-seat.

Wapiti – honest trier and hit the line strongly for fourth to Ballistic Boy. Mile is ideal and should be peaking for this.

Willo Titto – in the money all four runs this prep and has won this track and distance. This is harder than last start BM88, but does drop 8kgs.

Numbers: 2, 8, 5.

7-No Metro Win (Colts and geldings, 1200m)

Best: Rebel Salute – looks to be a stack of speed in this, which will suit. Sat off them and scored a dominant win here last start.

Full Nelson – ran a nice race at odds when close-up behind Catesby, who has since won again. Drops back from 1350m, but has won at this distance and in a smart stable.

Big Bad Bruce – at third run from a break had the gun run and blew them away in easier grade, this track and distance. Nicely weighted and can get the gun run from his good barrier.

Numbers: 3, 2, 8.

8-Open Handicap (1110m)

Best: Soxagon – handy gelding that won at Listed level before a spell. Has trialled twice, goes well fresh.

You Make Me Smile – resumed and was slow away, but worked strongly to the line for third to King Klaus. Four from six when second-up and can be closer from the barrier one.

Racecourse Road – went out hard at first run from a break and caved in late. Slight drop in distance is a plus and also down in grade.

Tambo’s Mate – having first start for Gollan stable. First-up since January, trialled twice and capable on his day, just hard to catch.

Numbers: 1, 6, 4, 3.

9-Class 6 (1350m)

Best: Roman Aureus – super honest and in the money all seven runs this track and distance. Well weighted under the Plate conditions and drawn to get the right run.

Dreamreacher – found the 1200m too short here last start when second to Weona Smartone. Step-up up in distance is a plus and from the good barrier can box-seat.

Acrobatic – having a strong prep and followed win here with close second to Catesby. This is tougher, but drops 4.5kgs after the claim, so nicely weighted.

Peppi La Few – three spaced runs were over 1200m and second in each. Looking for this distance now and expected high tempo will suit his pattern.

Numbers: 7, 10, 8, 2.
