The Las Vegas Raiders have been one of the stories of the new season and they can continue their hot start when they meet a divisional rivals foe in the Los Angeles Chargers.
There is a massive angle in play here. When there is a matchup in the first four weeks between divisional teams who both missed the playoffs, the underdog is 29-11 against the spread. That makes this a very good spot for the Raiders this week. Jon Gruden’s team have covered five of their last six as an underdog and six of their last eight division games. The Chargers have covered just three of 14 as a home favourite. The underdog has covered 18 of 24 in Raiders-Chargers clashes.
History absolutely dictates this should be an under game. In the last 21 meetings between the Raiders and the Chargers, 17 have gone under the total. The Chargers are just a big under team at home with the under hitting in 20 of their last 28 at home including their last four as a home favourite. Division battles tend to be tougher defensive battles. On a big total the under looks a very nice play.
Underrated slot-man Hunter Renfrow has quickly become a favoured target of Derek Carr and with the Raiders unlikely to be able to run it on the Chargers he projects to get his chance this week. He has 16 catches on 22 targets this year. Notched his first TD this season last week and can repeat the dose here.

SGM: Mike Williams TD/Darren Waller TD ($5.00)
Williams has been a ridiculously large part of this Chargers offense this season with 4 touchdowns in three games with 31 targets across that period. Waller has just one TD this year but has had 33 targets including 19 in the opener. He’s due for one here.
