The Wolf’s Best Bet is in serious form at present and should record another win at Bendigo. Here are Thursday’s harness tips.

Highland Hill is in a purple patch of form at present, winning three from his last five starts (those being his only three career wins to date!). He used the sprint lane at Stawell to win by a short half head last time out but can likely go even better this time if he finds the front. With Greg Sugars retaining the driving services, he is clearly the one to beat.

Tequila Bree took 13 starts to break her maiden but did so in style, winning at Shepparton three starts back and then following that up with a win at Kilmore at nearly $41. She was beaten 13.6m last time out but did cop a lot of pressure up front. She will be heading forward once again and this looks a good opportunity for her to bounce back.

Hy Leinvicible was simply enormous in the Home Grown Class Final on April 3, sitting without cover and sticking on gamely to finish 2nd beaten only 4.9m. Three weeks later he produced a very comfortable win at this track, justifying his $1.30 quote by winning by 5.8m. He is extremely tough and even if he can’t find the front tonight, he should still prove too strong.

With the scratching of the 2, Our Cheeky Devil should be able to ensure a very soft run in transit tonight. Last start he was only beaten 1.8m at Kilmore and that was at odds of $54. The 1 is a lightning beginner so if he can find the leaders back, he should be able to stick on and fill a placing at decent odds.
