The Wolf’s Best Bet should grab a second win in as many weeks after a long layoff. Here are The Wolf’s Saturday harness tips.
This lightly raced 8yo gelding resumed from a 14 month spell at Geelong last week, zipping up the sprint lane to salute the judge by a very comfortable 8.7m. He will no doubt take some improvement from that run and even though he has drawn wide on the front row tonight, he looks to have enough gate speed to find the top here and keep the good form going.

Swiss Miss resumes here after a much needed spell when things went pear shaped at the end of her last prep. She did manage to rack up two wins in her first Aussie campaign but it was marred by varying issues in her last three attempts. She comes up with the ideal draw tonight and should have every chance from the trailing position.

Major Manbar was extremely honest when up in grade last night, not having the sweetest of runs but flying home from well back in the field to finish in the money, only 9.4m off the winner. This is a much easier field tonight and a repeat of his last start performance would see him very competitive in this.

Confidence Level: 3.5/5
Typhoon Stride did it the hard way last time out, working 3 wide in the middle stages to sit outside the leader and ground away for the rest of the face, finishing 5.1m off the winner. He should find the front fairly easily from his front row draw tonight and does look ideally suited by his opposition tonight.
