The NSW Carnival Of Miracles has officially kicked off and The Wolf has got you covered, previewing the NSW Oaks Heats and the Group 1 Chariots Of Fire. Here are The Wolf’s Saturday harness tips.

Joanna resumes from a brief freshen-up here after running a very game 4th to Tough Tilly in the Group 1 Vicbred Super Series Final for the 2yo Fillies back in December. She has shown good gate speed in the past and finding this a little bit easier than last start, she should be able to roll to the front and dictate terms on her way into a spot in the Oaks Final.

WIN BETS

Celestial Fragrance ran not too far behind Joanna in the race mentioned above but she did it at odds of $161! She followed that up with a demolition job of her rivals at Charlton on February 14, leading throughout to win by a comfortable 23.7m. She will find this tougher than that race but she maps well tonight and looks a strong hope of continuing her winning ways.

The feature race of the night is one of the strongest editions of the Chariots of Fire that The Wolf has seen in a long time. The last start win of Minstrel in the WA Gold Nugget has to be seen to be believed; working forward 4 wide for half a lap, eventually finding the chair and still pulling out enough to win by a metre in a track record time. The only query here is whether that tough run has taken any shine off him but if he can replicate something close to that performance, he looks extremely hard to beat.

Sammy Showdown never shirked the task last start when parked outside race favourite Drop The Hammer and plugging away to finish 2nd beaten only 4.9m. The map looks much better tonight, likely to find the back of Drop The Hammer whilst he will have to work from outside the leader. This change in map could be all the difference and The Wolf is tipping him to turn the tables tonight.
