The Wolf’s Best Bet is a serious chaser who should record his first Victorian win at Sandown Park. Here are Thursday’s greyhound tips.

Pay Call is a serious NSW chaser who has managed to rattle off eight wins from his first 14 career starts. He has won his last three on the trot, culminating in a Group 3 victory at Wentworth Park last week, leading throughout to salute the judge by 1.25L. He showed much improved box speed last start and looks every hope of making his Victorian debut a winning one.

Star Brook is a WA speed machine who in his last three starts has two wins and a 6th placing beaten only 3.5L behind superstar chaser Tiggerlong Tonk. She trialled well here on May 8 and will only need a little bit of luck early to finish in the frame tonight at a decent price.

Confidence Level: 4/5

Weblec Jet continued his great run of form last start by putting pay to a very classy Geelong Gold Cup field on May 5, making every post a winner in a handy time of 25.82. He looks perfectly drawn out wide and at a track and trip he loves, he looks the one to beat.

Recommended Price: $4.20
Confidence Level: 4/5

Not Happening is in career best form at present, making it three from his last four in Grade 5 company last time out, winning by 1.25L. He does step up to a Mixed 4/5 tonight but he is racing full of confidence and rates clearly on top for The Wolf.
