The Wolf’s Best Bet should bounce back in easier company at The Meadows. Here are Saturday’s greyhound tips.

BEST BET

Although failing to salute in a Restricted Win event last start as an odds-on favourite, Royal Deed gets in quite well here in a Mixed Grade 6/7. He should improve from his last start efforts at Horsham and with his mid-race turn of foot, should be able to round up this field comfortably.

Recommended Price $2.30
Confidence Level: 5/5

WIN BETS

Jazz Opera has been luckless in her last two starts, copping severe checks not long after the start and falling back through the field. She won in Group 3 company four starts back and from the inside box, should be able to burn them off early and hold them off at the business end.

Recommended Price $3.10
Confidence Level: 4.5/5

Well Grounded ran very honestly when 2nd in his heat of the Geelong Gold Cup behind Weblec Jet but unfortunately found plenty of trouble in the Final when finishing 7th. He has been racing in good form of late and despite drawing the outside box, does map well and should be thereabouts in the closing stages.

Recommended Price: $5.00
Confidence Level: 3.5/5

Aratuza Bale got back to her best last start over this track and trip, winning a Grade 5 event by a commanding 6.5L. She gets her preferred inside draw tonight and should have enough early speed to hold the rails and run away with the race.

Recommended Price: $3.60
Confidence Level: 4/5
