The Milwaukee Bucks’ most important NBA game in 40 years takes centre stage on Wednesday as they look to end the NBA Finals on their home court in Game 6. But the Phoenix Suns and Devin Booker won’t back down as they’ll be desperate to force a decider in Phoenix.

Here are The Wolf’s Wednesday NBA predictions.

Best Bet

If the Bucks do achieve victory in Game 6, the Bucks’ big three will get the majority of attention and accolades.

However, Pat Connaughton has been a huge influence off the bench in this series and deserves his share of the credit. The Wolf doesn’t seem him slowing down on his home court in Game 6 either.

In this series thus far, Connaughton has scored an average of 11 points and comes off an equal series high of 14 points in Game 5. He also hit 11 points in Game 4 which was the last game of the series in Milwaukee.

The Bucks basically running a three man bench rotation between Connaughton, Portis and Teague with Connaughton getting the majority of minutes.

Connaughton is averaging 31.4 minutes per game and he’s making them count when he’s on the court.

Overall, he’s shot 54% from the field in the series and has been accurate from three point range (50.8%) when he gets the chance.

So 8.5 points should be a comfortable mark as he’s hit this line in three of five games and 8 points in the remaining two.

Value Bet

The Suns’ key to keeping their championship hopes alive is through the impressive shooting form of Devin Booker and he’ll need to keep his 40+ point streak alive if they are any chance to do so.

In Game 3 of this series in Milwaukee, Booker had an absolute shocker as he shot just 21% from the field in the Suns’ 20 point loss.

But since that moment, Booker has exploded by scoring 42 points in Game 4 and 40 points in Game 5.

In his last two games, he’s averaging 30.5 field goal attempts per game, up from 20 field goals per game. The shot volume is definitely there for Booker to hit big numbers in Game 6, even despite a drop in shots from beyond the arc.

Booker’s averaging 40.5 minutes per game this series and he’ll get maximum court time here with the Suns seeking a Game 7 in Phoenix.
