Phoenix return home for Game 5 unable to secure a win in Milwaukee, and with Chris Paul coming off a disappointing Game 4 expect him to bounce back.

Here are The Wolf’s Sunday NBA predictions.

Best Bet

The Suns were convincing winners of Games 1 and 2 on their home floor this series with two double-digit margins, and The Wolf expects them to bounce back after two tough contests in Milwaukee.

Despite going down by six points in Game 4, it was a lot closer than this with Phoenix leading for most of the game. Devin Booker finished with 42 points, but he didn’t have much help – Chris Paul had 10 points, Deandre Ayton 6 points and Mikal Bridges 7 points.

It took an inspired performance from Khris Middleton to drag the Bucks over the line in Game 4, and returning back to Phoenix with the series on the line The Wolf thinks that the Suns will click back into gear.

There’s plenty of improvement from their role players that delivered in their wins to start the NBA Finals, and being back in Phoenix will make it significantly more difficult for the Bucks.

Expect Phoenix to take out Game 5 and put themselves in the box seat for the Championship.

Value Bet

No disguising the fact that Chris Paul was poor in Phoenix’s Game 4 loss, with 10 points from 5/13 shooting to go with five very uncharacteristic turnovers.

As a result, the stage is set perfectly for CP3 returning back to Phoenix for Game 5 to lead the Suns to a big win.

Paul started the series with a statement scoring 32 points to go with nine assists, and in his other home game this series he scored 23 points – both occasions he was around the 20 field goal attempts mark.

Jrue Holiday did a sensational job in Game 4, but expect Monty Williams to align his Phoenix team to get back to the basketball they’re known for – moving the ball with a good spread of scoring. There’s no doubt the blinkers will be on Booker off the back of his monster 42-point Game 4 effort, so expect Paul’s usage to lift once again playing out of the Deandre Ayton on-ball.

CP3 should have 20, but $3 for 25+ is great value with the superstar destined to bounce back with an inspirational performance.
