About Morphettville Racecourse
Morphettville Racecourse is South Australia’s premier racing venue. It held its first race meeting in 1875. There are two tracks, Morphettville Racecourse and Morphettville Parks. Morphettville Racecourse has a circumference of 2307 metres and a 340-metre-long straight. It hosts the Adelaide Cup, Australasian Oaks, Robert Sangster Stakes, Goodwood Handicap and the South Australian Derby each year.
