Track rated heavy 9 at the time of acceptances with more rain on the way. HARSH raced away for an easy win over the topweight last start. She's meeting a similar field today and can go on with the job. Blinkers go back on JAYKAYANN following a moderate effort at Swan Hill a fortnight ago. A wetter track is a big plus for her, as is a 2kg drop in weight. Backmarker WUDDZZ has been freshened since finishing midfield in the Warrnambool Cup last month. His wet track form is very good. KIRKLISTON BLU has won twice this route and will carry 58kg after Brooke King's claim.

Morphettville Racecourse is South Australia’s premier racing venue. It held its first race meeting in 1875. There are two tracks, Morphettville Racecourse and Morphettville Parks. Morphettville Racecourse has a circumference of 2307 metres and a 340-metre-long straight. It hosts the Adelaide Cup, Australasian Oaks, Robert Sangster Stakes, Goodwood Handicap and the South Australian Derby each year.
