We leave the Group 1 racing behind us this week however the excitement doesn't stop as we head to Ipswich for their big day of the year with the Cup, Eye Liner & Gai Waterhouse Classic the features. The track was rated a soft (7) at acceptance time on Wednesday morning with a mostly dry forecast leading in, who knows we may even get back to near a good rating? A 1350m affair for the restricted horses gets us underway, coming back in both trip & class SMEXY could well turn her recent form around, she draws well enough to do so.

About Ipswich Racecourse
Ipswich Racecourse was first established in 1890 and was originally known as the Bundamba Racecourse. It is run by the Ipswich Turf Club. The track has a circumference of 1746 metres and a 300-metre-long straight. The Ipswich Cup is an open handicap race worth $200,000 in prize money.
