Expecting track in the range of soft 6 to heavy 8. Running Rich will come across and lead the first with Satono's Shout holding his spot from the good draw. SATONO'S SHOUT worked to lead from barrier nine when a close third at Sandown. GALLANTRY was checked by the winner, which might have cost him second place in that race. He covered ground also. Satono's Shout should get a better run this time and can beat him home. PORTARLINGTON has been closing strongly in reasonable company in Adelaide. FONTEIN JEWEL just missed at Swan Hill. INSOLENCE was good fresh. Check betting on the unraced.

Flemington Racecourse is Australia's best-known racecourse. It hosts the Melbourne Cup each November. The track is located on low alluvial flats next to the Maribyrnong River. It is famous for its 1200-metre straight known as the 'straight six'.
