Showers about each and every day all week. This track should remain soft. Kick the eight race card off with a 1600m Maiden Plate. No's 3,4,5,7,8,10 could have designs on a forward berth - they each do on occasions but not always. Bit of new blood via the resuming COOL DRINKS and the freshened CRUSADER VOYAGE. For now there are two that I expect to run well. The well and truly over due SATURDAYS GIRL which may be a non-winner but in fairness (yet again) didn't get room when required last start. The other is TASSORATI which surprisingly went back in a race lacking for pace last start. Ironically it's long-priced stablemate went forward and as a result was a 'surprise' winner. The power of the map.

Doomben Racecourse is operated by the Brisbane Racing Club. It is located close to Brisbane's city centre in the suburb of Ascot. The first race meeting was held at Doomben Racecourse in 1933. It hosts some of Australia's most prestigious race meetings each year.
