4 Ways to Win
There are four different types of The First Four bet – Straight, Box, Standout and Flexi First Four bets. Here is a brief explanation of what these terms mean:
Straight First Four bet
Requires selection of the first four placings in a race in the CORRECT order.
You can maximize your return by placing a Straight First Four bet.
An example is below:

In this example, the Straight First Four bet winning payout will be based on horse numbers 6-3-7-1 finishing in that order.
A $1.00 investment on a Straight First Four bet is equal to 100% of the payout dividend.
Box First Four bet
Allows your selections to finish first, second, third and fourth in ANY order. Boxing four selections gives you 24 combinations. As long as four of the runners selected in your Box First Four bet are the first four finishers you’ll win!
You can box as many combinations you like.

Standout First Four bet
One runner is selected to finish 1st (ie a standout) and is coupled with three or more runners to finish second, third and fourth. A standout First Four bet gives you more value if you are certain of the winning 1st place runner.

A Standout First Four bet can be where two or more runners are selected to finish 1st, with a number of other runners to finish 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
The cost of the wager will depend on how many runners you select to place in either 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th.
Flexi First Four bet
You can convert your Box, Standout and Multi First Four bets into Flexi bets. This means your win payout will be converted to a percentage. The more you invest into your wager, the higher the payout percentage. The minimum percentage is 1%.
