How to place a Racing wager online
- In the left hand navigation, click on the racing type, eg HORSE RACING. Either continue using the left hand navigation to choose a venue then a race or use the Racing Home page to click directly on a race.
- The field will be displayed with bet types that are available for Win/Place. Note that Fixed Odds will not appear online until approximately 20 minutes before advertised start time.
- Select your type of bet:
• Select the Price for Fixed Odds - Select your leg type (W for win, P for place or EW for Each Way) enter your stake.
- If you make a mistake or decide to change your selection click on the remove button. Don’t click on the back button of your browser – because the form is dynamic it will take you back to the last page you were at without race data.
- If you have a Free Bet you can choose to use it by clicking on the Free Bet menu on the right hand side of the betting slip. You cannot use your Free Bet for Each Way bets, MultiBets and All-Ups.
- Click on the Bet button.
- Your bet request will be checked and the total stake will be displayed. To place the bet click on the Finalise button.
If you want to change your bet, click on the Cancel button, don’t click on the back button. This will take you back to your Betting Slip where you can make your changes. - If you clicked on the Finalise button your bet(s) will be placed and your betting slip displayed. For a printable version, click on the printer icon or click Done to return to the race field.top
How to place a Quinella, Exacta, Trifecta or First 4 exotic bet online
- Click on the Quinella/Trifecta/Exacta or First 4 button
- Make your first selection(s) or standout by clicking a checkbox in the Sel1/Stdout column. if you want to Box your exotic, simply make all your selections in this column. If you wish to do a Standout exotic, enter subsequent selections in the other “Sel2/3/4″ columns (per below).
- Make your second selection(s) by clicking a checkbox in the Sel2 column, or third selections (Trifecta/First4) in the Sel3 Column, or fourth selections in the Sel4 column.
- Click on the Bet button at the bottom of the field once you have finalised your selections.
- Your selection will be displayed in your betting slip. Click the Flexi box if you wish to enter a fixed sum investment for a percentage of the dividend. Do not tick the flexi box if you wish to invest a Unit on the wager. Enter your Total Stake (if flexi) or unit amount you wish to invest.
- Click on the Bet button.
- Your bet request will be checked and the total stake will be displayed. To place the bet click on the Finalise button.

This will take you back to your Betting Slip where you can make your changes. - If you clicked on the Finalise button your bet(s) will be placed and your betting slip displayed. How to place a Sports wager online
Minimum bet on the internet is $1.
- Select the Sport you wish to place a bet, for example – AFL.
- Select the event, for example – AFL Premiership Season Round 1.
- Click on the price of your bet type – Win, Head to Head, Line, Margin etc
- Your selection will be displayed in your betting slip. Enter your Total Stake.
- Click on the Bet button.
- Your bet request will be checked and the total stake will be displayed. To place the bet click on the Finalise button.
If you want to change your bet, click on the Cancel button, don’t click on the back button. This will take you back to your Betting Slip where you can make your changes - If you clicked on the Finalise button your bet(s) will be placed and your betting slip displayed. For a printable version, click on the printer icon or click Done to return to the race field.
How to Place a MultiBet online
- Make your selection for each bet then click on Convert to .
- Enter your Total Stake.
- Click on the Bet button.
- Your bet request will be checked and the total stake will be displayed. To place the bet click on the Finalise button.
If you want to change your bet, click on the Cancel button, don’t click on the back button. This will take you back to your Betting Slip where you can make your changes. - If you clicked on the Finalise button your bet(s) will be placed and your betting slip displayed. For a printable version, click on the printer icon or click Done to return to the race field.
- As you add legs to your MultiBet and you have selected Fixed Odds you are able to view the MultiBet odds at the top of the page. The odds will be re-calculated each time you add another leg.If you don’t select Fixed Odds when including a racing event in a MultiBet, the odds will not be calculated as you add your selections, the racing selections and the total dividend will appear as zero.
- You can select up to ten legs. A minimum of one sporting event is necessary in a ten leg Sport/Racing MultiBet.top
How to place a Racing wager on the phone
To place a bet over the phone, call 1800 132 387, have your Account number and password ready. Your account number is on your membership card. The Minimum amount invested on a single bet or multiple bets from a single telephone call to the Sportsbet Racing telephone betting number is $50.
