UPDATE COMMBANK RESPONDS. It’s been an interesting few days at Sportsbet.com.au.
After Commbank removed our parody of ‘Ode to Can’ from Facebook and YouTube, we decided to challenge the unscrupulous bank to a Can-Can dance-off.
Not surprisingly, the bigwigs at the bank have turned down the offer, insisting that they “don’t gamble” and instead invest in community projects and charge extortianate interest rate
So Casey – the star of our Parody and a better-looking version of Toni Collette – met reporters with a compromise. See how it went.
Sportsbet.com.au has laid down a gentlemen’s challenge to Commbank after they had our ‘Ode to Toni’ parody removed from YouTube and Facebook. A duel, if you will.
We placed advertisements in national media inviting Commbank to take on our staff in a Can-Can dance-off.
So, we sent some Can-can dancers around to one of their offices to see if they would bite.
Over 250 onlookers flocked to see these tasty ladies perform a dance in front of their branch.
CBA, however, still CAN’T take a bit of friendly banter.
Take that lemon out of your mouths Commbank and stop being a bunch of Can’ts. Enjoy the fun.
But we’re going to leave it up to our customers to decide in a poll…..

Maybe the CommBank should accept the fact the punters choose to part with a few bucks to add to the excitement of watching sport. Whereas citizens have no choice but to pay Banks service fees so the bank can use our money!!
