Pierro or All Too Hard? Who will win the Cox Plate? [Poll]

Cox Plate BettingWhat a weekend of racing it was. It had everything.

John Hawkes’ All Too Hard stole the show when landed the Caulfield Guineas ahead of Champion two year old Pierro.

While Gai Waterhouse made no excuses in defeat, it did seem that he didn’t pop out all very well and had to be rallied up with the pace.

These initial exertions may have been detrimental to his chances, which allowed Black Caviar’s half-brother claim some redemption after being much-hyped earlier in his career.

However, we have kept Pierro as the favourite for the Cox Plate. All Too Hard at $8, is fourth favourite behind Green Moon and Ocean Park.

Do you think Pierro is still a good thing for the Plate? Vote in our Poll or leave a comment below.

Look, the best cox plate ever run was won by super impose (bill collins called it). Pierro has been an absoloute pleasure, for the punters and spectators. However, there is a term called “home turf”. All too hard came to Sydney, wasnt suited by the pace and what not, did what he could and came off second best. He accepted it. And did M.J.W Hawkes and the staff. When Pierro got beat, he the horse accepted it, but Gai Watehourse didnt. Her response was “you cant win them all”. Please!! Pierros down in melbourne, in All too hards backyard. This will be real messy. All too hard is offended hence will rip them to shreds in the cox plate. He is probably saying “how dare you (pierro) and gai put me down, I wont be defeated in my backyard. This is what you call racing. Love it!! Enjoy!!
